The Confederation of African Football (CAF) chose an Egyptian arbitration team led by the international referee Mahmoud Naji To manage the match between Al Hilal of Sudan and Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, scheduled to be held on January 30 at Kigali Stadium – Umuahoro in Rwanda, as part of the African Champions League competitions.

The crew also includes Samir Gamal and Ahmed Tawfiq (assistants), and Mahmoud Bassiouni, a fourth referee. The federation also appointed Jules Karangwa from Rwanda as general coordinator of the match, and Angesom Ogbarim from Eritrea as an observer for the match.
