In his interview with Cairo 24, he was moved by Khaled Jalal: Thank God that time has not passed. My honor confirmed to me that anyone who makes an effort will never lose appreciation, and the human being comes before the artist. Some people learn and disavow those who taught them. I saw great appreciation and keenness from more than one person to talk to me because there is someone who is traveling and someone who is taking pictures and does not know how to attend.
Honoring Khaled Jalal
The theater sector, headed by director Hisham Atwa, and under the patronage and presence of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hanno, Minister of Culture, organized a major artistic celebration to honor director Khaled Galal yesterday on the stage of the National Theater in downtown Cairo. This celebration comes in appreciation of an exceptional journey of artistic and cultural giving, during which director Khaled Galal made prominent contributions to enriching the theatrical and artistic movement in Egypt, whether through his creative works that shaped the consciences of generations, or through his leadership roles in the institutions of the Ministry of Culture, where He was known for his unique vision and ability to discover talent and create stars.
Khaled Galal is considered one of the most prominent icons of theatrical directing in Egypt, as he won the State Award for Artistic Creativity and the Award for Excellence in the Arts, in addition to prestigious local and international honors, including his honor from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi during the activities of the World Youth Forum 2019, in addition to his directing of a number of the most important national celebrations, and his honor from major press, cultural and official institutions.
