Many hadiths have been reported that show the virtue of Friday, such as his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace: The best day on which the sun rises is Friday; On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted to Paradise, and on it he was expelled from it, and the Hour will not come except on Friday.

In another hadith explaining the virtue of Friday, he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “One of your best days is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he died, on it is the blast, and on it is the thunderbolt, so pray abundantly for those who pray on it, for your prayers are presented to me. He said: They said: O Messenger of God, and how can our prayers be presented to you when you have been thrown away? They say: you have perished. So he said: God Almighty has forbidden the bodies of the prophets on earth.”

The virtue of Friday increases with its arrival in the holy month of Shaban, and it is one of the months that has a great and very special status among Muslims, as in that month the deeds of the servants are brought up to God Almighty, and for this reason the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to fast a lot and say, “I would like my deeds to be taken up while I am fasting,” and from this standpoint we observe the supplication of the first Friday in the month of Shaban, knowing that Friday night begins with sunset today, Thursday, January 22, corresponding to Shaban 3 Hijri, and ends with sunrise. At dawn on Friday, January 23, corresponding to Shaaban 4, 1447 AH.

Supplication for the first Friday in the month of Shaban:

• Oh God, bless Shaban for us and let us reach Ramadan without seeing the tear of a loved one, nor a dear separation, nor the continuation of illness for a relative.
• Oh God, let us reach Ramadan, neither lost nor lost. Oh God, let us reach the month of Ramadan in the best condition, and help us, O God, to fast and pray in it, O Lord of the Worlds.
• O Lord, this is the crescent of a month and it has arrived, and You know best what is in it of goodness, so make it, O God, a crescent of blessings and happiness, complete with security, forgiveness, and contentment, erasing dangers at times and times, and protecting from harm.
• Glory be to You, O God, and with Your praise there is no god but You. I have done evil and wronged myself. Forgive me. You are the best of forgivers. Glory be to You, O God, and with Your praise.
• Oh God, I ask you a submissive, submissive and submissive question, asking you to forgive me and have mercy on me, and to make me, with your oath, satisfied, content, and humble in all circumstances.
• Oh God, if my provision is in the sky, then send it down, and if it is on the earth, then bring it out, and if it is far, then bring it closer, and if it is near, then make it easy, and if it is little, then increase it, and if it is a lot, then bless it for me.
• O God, grant me useful knowledge, ample sustenance, and a cure for every illness and disease, O You who provide for whomever You will without reckoning, Most Compassionate and Merciful of this world and the Hereafter, O God, have mercy on me with a mercy that enriches me with it from all but You. My God, I pray to You as the supplication of one whose poverty has increased, whose strength has weakened, and whose resourcefulness has diminished, the supplication of a distressed, miserable, and poor drowning person who has no means to uncover the sins that are in him except You.
• O Remover of stumbling blocks, O Judge of needs, fulfill my needs, relieve my distress, and provide for me from where I did not expect, O God, grant me ample, permissible, and good sustenance without hardship, and answer my supplications without reply, and I seek refuge in You from poverty and debt, O God, O Provider of the beggars, O Merciful of the poor, O Possessor of solid strength, O Best of helpers, O Protector of the believers, O Helping those who seek help, You we worship and You we seek help.
• My Lord, make me thankful to You, remembrance of You, hiding and repenting to You, my Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sins, and answer my supplication. Establish my proof, guide my heart, restrain my tongue, and remove the generosity of my heart.
• Oh God, satisfy us with your decree and what you have divided for us, and make us among those who praise you in good times and in bad. O God, whose kindness to His creation is comprehensive, and whose goodness is to His servant is continuous, do not remove me, my offspring, my family, and my loved ones from the circle of kindness, and we are safe from everything we fear, and be to us with your hidden and apparent kindness.
• Oh God, the reliever of worries, the remover of grief, the answerer to the prayers of those in need, the Most Merciful and Merciful of this world and the hereafter. You have mercy on me, so have mercy on me with a mercy that enriches me from the mercy of anyone else.
• Oh God, I ask you for the best of asking, the best of supplication, the best of success, the best of work, the best of reward, the best of life and the best of death, make me steadfast and heavy on my scales, fulfill my faith, raise my rank, and accept the good and its endings, its beginning and its last, its apparent and its inner, and the highest degrees of Paradise.

Supplication for the first Friday of the month of Shaban for sustenance

One of the supplications that Muslims most want to repeat in blessed times is the supplication for sustenance, which we explain with supplications that it is recommended to be careful to pray during the hour of response on Friday. Authentic hadiths have been reported that on Friday there is an hour when a Muslim servant does not ask God Almighty for something but He gives it to him.

The scholars differed in specifying that hour due to the differences in the narrations contained in its determination. Some of them say that it is between the time when the imam sits on the pulpit until he finishes the prayer, as in Sahih Muslim and others. Some say it is after the afternoon prayer without restriction, and some say it is the last hour of it before sunset. • Oh God, if my provision is in the sky, then send it down, and if it is on the earth, then bring it out, and if it is far, then bring it closer, and if it is near, then make it easy, and if it is little, then increase it, and if it is a lot, then bless it for me.
• O God, grant me useful knowledge, ample sustenance, and a cure from every disease and illness, O You who provide for whomever You wish without reckoning, Most Merciful of this world and the Hereafter, and Most Merciful of them.
• Oh God, have mercy on me with a mercy that enriches me from anyone but You. My God, I pray to You as the supplication of one whose poverty has become severe, his strength has weakened, and his resourcefulness has diminished, the supplication of a drowning, distressed, miserable, poor person who has no one to uncover the sins he is in except You.
• O Ghayath, help me, O Ghayath, help me, O Ghayath, help me. Oh God, make us rich with your lawful things than your forbidden things, and protect us, for you are the most merciful of those who show mercy, O Generous One.
• O God, O God of vast mercy, O One who is aware of secrets, consciences, obsessions, and thoughts, nothing escapes You. I ask You for an abundance of Your bounty, a fistful of the light of Your authority, and comfort and relief from the sea of ​​Your generosity. You hold the entire matter and the reins of everything.
• Oh God, grant us what pleases our eyes and spares us the need to ask others. You are generous, generous, and good-natured. At your door we stand, and we wait for your well-known generosity, O Most Generous, O Most Merciful.
• O God, O Provider of those who ask, O Merciful of the poor, O Possessor of strength, O Best of helpers, O Protector of the believers, O Helper of those seeking help, You we worship and You we seek help.
