New leaks reveal an unusual step from Honor, as the company is preparing to launch its flagship phone, Honor Magic V6, globally before its official launch in China.

It plans to unveil the phone during the MWC 2026 conference in Barcelona on March 1, 2026, and its availability in the Chinese market will begin later in March after the Lunar New Year holiday.

At the same time, leaked photos of the foldable phone began circulating on the Chinese Weibo platform, which appeared to have been taken during a photo shoot for a promotional advertisement.

The pictures show the famous actor and singer Nicholas Tse carrying the device, but it is not yet clear whether these shots were officially published or leaked indirectly.

In terms of design, the dark red color stands out as the primary option for the phone, with a deeper tone than that presented by the previous generation. Information also indicates the availability of other colors, but without confirmed details yet.

As for the general design, the phone maintains its remarkable thinness, and some leaks even indicate that it may be thinner than its predecessor. It is reported that one of the color versions will be thinner, while the version intended for the Chinese market will have a larger battery capacity.

The phone also maintains a rear camera bump with an octagonal design, and when folded it does not appear thicker than a traditional phone.

In terms of hardware, the phone is expected to run on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, along with a 200-megapixel main camera, making it a strong competitor in the leading foldable phone category.
