Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman met on Wednesday evening with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, according to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA.
Pakistani Prime Minister visits Saudi Arabia
Shahbaz Sharif, Prime Minister of Pakistan, arrived today in Jeddah, western Saudi Arabia, on an official visit, and met with Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on his second visit to Saudi Arabia, which is linked with Pakistan to a joint strategic defense agreement, within a short period of time not exceeding a month.
According to media reports, Prime Minister Sharif’s visit to Saudi Arabia will discuss ways to calm the region, in addition to discussing the negotiations between America and Iran that were held in Islamabad without achieving tangible progress, while Pakistan called on the two parties to host a second round after the failure of the first, to end the conflict in the region that began last February 28, with American-Israeli strikes against Tehran.
