Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, announced that the General Authority for Urban Planning has completed reviewing and signing urban space plates for a group of villages and villages, in an important step towards promoting urban development and eliminating slums.

Approval of detailed plans for a village and 38 subalterns

The Governor of Qena explained that Engineer Radwa Abdel Rahman, Director General of the General Administration of Planning and Urban Development and representative of the governorate, has completed the procedures for reviewing and signing the urban space plate for one of the governorate’s villages and 38 affiliated villages, and the General Authority for Urban Planning is currently scheduled to complete the rest of the necessary legal and administrative procedures, in preparation for the issuance of its ministerial decisions and the official start of work on it.

This step comes within the framework of the state’s directives to expedite the completion of urban estates and determine the cordons of villages and satellites, ensuring the cessation of urban bleeding onto agricultural lands, and allowing the issuance of legal building permits and delivering facilities to citizens in an orderly manner, which will reflect positively on the level of services provided to citizens in those areas.
