The security services revealed the circumstances of a video clip circulated on social media sites that included the escape of a number of inmates from a clinic in Giza.

The investigation revealed that on February 2, while a security force from the Giza Security Directorate, accompanied by the relevant authorities from the Abu Nomros Police Station, passed by to inspect apartments and villas that were being used as addiction treatment clinics “without a license,” those in charge of one of the unlicensed clinics dismissed the inmates from it before the forces arrived.

They were arrested (4 people, “the owner of the villa, 3 supervisors at the clinic”), and when they were confronted, they confessed to having committed the incident as referred to.

Legal measures were taken.
