The new GMKtec EVO-T2 mini PC has undergone extensive performance tests that have proven its high efficiency in running games and performing heavy productivity tasks thanks to its reliance on the sixteen-core Intel Panther Lake Core Ultra X7 358H processor paired with the Arc B390 integrated graphics processing unit. This device comes supported by 64 GB of LPDDR5x random access memory and 1 TB of storage space, which can be expanded later via two M.2 ports, proving that the new Intel accelerated processing units represent an ideal addition to mini-computers and eliminate the need for separate graphics cards to run the most powerful games, which was confirmed by the tests conducted by the ETA Prime channel.

The new processor showed impressive speed and high energy efficiency, as the device was able to run games at a resolution of 1440 pixels quite smoothly without the need for resolution raising techniques in old or light games, while heavy games such as Cyber Bank 2077 required the use of XeSS technology to reach smooth frame rates. The device achieved an average frame rate of 75 frames per second in the game Red Dead Redemption 2 at medium settings, exceeded 70 frames in the game The Witcher 3 at ultra settings, and recorded more than 60 frames in the game Spider-Man 2 and more than 100 frames in the game Forza Horizon 5. With the activation of the multi-frame generation technology XeSS 3, the frame rate in the game Cyberpunk jumped from 50 frames to more than 100 frames per Second, which confirms the ability of these processors to support the gaming experience at high refresh rates in supported games.
In addition to excelling in games, the device demonstrated exceptional capabilities in productivity tasks, as its processor outperformed the Threadripper 2990WX workstation processor in the Cinebench 2024 tests with thirty-two cores in multi-core performance, and also beat the Apple M1 Ultra processor in the single-core test. Despite these great capabilities, obtaining a mini-computer with a fast and powerful integrated graphics processing unit requires a high budget, as this version that was tested is currently available for sale at a price of 1899 US dollars, which is close to the price of the competing version GMKtec EVO-X2 equipped with a Ryzen processor, which is available at a price of 1999 US dollars.
