Artist Ahmed Dawoud announced the date of condolence for his father-in-law, artist Ola Rushdi, who passed away this morning, Wednesday, and his body was held at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed this afternoon.
Daoud wrote on his official Facebook page: To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return. My father-in-law, Minister and Trade Commissioner Dr. Mohamed Rushdi Abdul Qadir Hassan, has passed away to the mercy of God Almighty. May the deceased have mercy and his family have patience and solace. The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 7, after the Maghrib prayer at the Police Mosque in Sheikh Zayed in Al-Razzaq Hall.

Ola Rushdi’s latest work in drama was the series Strawberry, starring Nelly Karim, written by Mohamed Suleiman Abdel Malek and directed by Mohamed Ali. The events revolved around Strawberry, the cup reader and the daughter of the real estate guard, to emerge from poverty and become a social media celebrity, on a rising journey full of comedic situations, until she becomes a society woman and an expert in the field of energy.
She is also waiting for the screening of the series Bing Kli, starring Salma Abu Deif and Diab. The work sheds light on the daily conflicts and dilemmas that occur inside hospitals, whether they are medical issues, mistakes, difficult decisions, or poignant human situations that combine tension, excitement, and drama.
