Today, Ismailia Governorate witnessed an accident in which a two-story house collapsed, without causing any injuries, on Shell Street.

The executive agencies in Ismailia Governorate received a report stating that the property had collapsed, and immediately civil protection forces and officials from a second district moved to the site of the accident, where a security cordon was imposed around the area in order to preserve the safety of citizens and passers-by.

Informed sources confirmed that the property was empty of residents at the time of the collapse, which contributed to preventing human casualties, while the utilities, including water, electricity, and gas, were disconnected as a precautionary measure, and the work of removing rubble began to direct traffic on the street.

The competent authorities began examining neighboring properties to ensure their structural safety, preparing a technical report to determine the causes of the collapse, and taking the necessary legal measures regarding the incident.
