The General Authority of Meteorology revealed details of the weather conditions today, Wednesday, in Cairo and the governorates, confirming that temperatures will continue to drop in most areas, with the maximum temperature in Cairo recording 23 degrees Celsius.

Weather phenomena

The authority stated in its statement regarding the expected weather condition that the gradual decrease in temperatures will continue in most areas, and cold weather will prevail in the early morning, with moderate temperatures during the day in most areas, tending to heat in southern Upper Egypt, and tending to cold at the beginning of the night and cold at the end.

Regarding the expected weather phenomena, meteorology confirmed that water mist, which may be dense at times, prevails from the late hours of the night until 9 am, on some roads leading to and from the north of the country as far as Greater Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and central Sinai, and may lead to a decrease in horizontal visibility on some roads.

The chances of light rain are increasing on separate areas of the northwestern coasts and northern Lower Egypt, and may be moderate in the evening at times in areas of Salloum and Matrouh at intermittent intervals.

Some low clouds will appear over areas from the north of the country to Greater Cairo, the Canal cities, central Sinai, and the south of the country, which may result in light drizzle that does not affect some areas.

As of the coming days, there will be a drop in temperatures ranging from 4 to 3 degrees, so that the temperature on the northern coasts will be 24:21, Lower Egypt 24:23, and the south of the country 29:23, and the country will witness active wind movement from Sunday, November 30, to Wednesday, next December 3, on areas of the northern coasts, South Sinai, and the south of the country.
