Major General Amr Al-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, issued Resolution No. 613 of 2026 regarding the formation of committees in each local unit headed by the deputy head of the local unit in the center, city or district, and the membership of the director of the relevant supply department or his representative, the director of supply control, the director of the agricultural department, and a researcher in the internal audit and governance department, as part of preparation for the wheat harvest season.
The Governor of Menoufia forms committees to inspect feed factories and mills
The committees are responsible for daily traffic and inspection of factories Feed Private mills within the governorate that produce flour from wheat extract 72% of imported wheat, to ensure that local wheat is not used in their products, as well as to ensure that there is no local wheat stored or prepared for manufacturing within those facilities.
The committees are also committed to taking all prescribed legal measures regarding any violations detected, provided that a weekly report on the results of their work is prepared and presented to the competent authorities, ensuring tight control over the circulation of the wheat crop during the season.
The Governor of Menoufia stressed on the Supply and Agriculture Directorates the necessity of daily monitoring of the processes of receiving the wheat crop and examining it through the relevant committees, while working to overcome obstacles and providing the necessary facilitations to farmers, ensuring the regularity of the supply process and the absence of crowding in front of the receiving points.
