The Ministry of Interior agencies revealed the circumstances of two posts supported by pictures circulated on social media sites, including the allegation that a girl was absent from her home under mysterious circumstances in Sharqiya.
Upon examination, it was found that on the 5th of this month, a (worker – resident in the Center District) reported to the Abu Hammad Police Station in the Sharqiya Security Directorate the absence of his daughter (a factory worker – residing at the same address), after she left work on the 4th of this month and contacted him to inform him that she had gone to buy some supplies and had not returned. After that, he was able to find his cream bag and shoes on the beach of the Ismailia Canal in the Center District, and he explained his failure to report at the time because he had searched for her.
Immediately, river rescue forces were dispatched to comb the area, and procedures were taken to detect the absent woman. Investigations resulted in determining her whereabouts in the Salloum Police Department in Matrouh Governorate, in the company of one of her acquaintances. Upon asking her, she decided to leave her home of her own free will, and legal measures are being taken and the aforementioned is handed over to her family.
