Today, Tuesday, Qena river rescue forces were able to recover the body of a young woman who was killed after a fishing boat sank in the Nile River, in the village of Dandara, in the Qena center.

A small body was recovered

The beginning goes back to the security services in the Qena Security Directorate receiving a notification from the operations room that a report had been received that a fishing boat carrying 6 children had sunk during a hike on the Nile River in the Jubail area of ​​the village of Dandara, and the people were able to save 4 children.

Upon investigation and examination, it was revealed that a fishing boat sank, resulting in the death of Maryam Ali Abdel Mawjoud, 9 years old. River rescue forces succeeded in extricating her, and a search is underway for Omar Abdullah Muhammad Shehata, 13 years old.

A report was drawn up regarding the incident and the competent authorities were notified to undertake the investigations, which assigned the Investigation Unit to investigate the incident and uncover it, and the body is being transferred to the hospital morgue.
