NVIDIA is planning a massive acquisition that could shake up the PC market, according to a new report. The report indicates that this step may represent the biggest change in the computer market since its emergence, although details about the deal are still limited so far.
According to the information, no final decisions have been made yet, but the acquisition talks have been ongoing for more than a year and are said to be approaching their final stages.
However, even if an agreement is reached, the deal would need approval from antitrust regulators, which is not guaranteed given Nvidia’s dominance over many GPU segments.

Potential acquisition candidates include Dell, HP, and Asus. Nvidia’s market value is about $4.57 trillion, which is much higher than traditional computer companies, as Dell’s value is estimated at about $121.7 billion, while HP’s value is about $17.17 billion, and Asus’s value reaches only $13.55 billion.
Following the publication of the report, Dell shares rose by 6%, and HP shares rose by about 4%. The potential acquisition may give NVIDIA an opportunity to increase its sales and enhance its influence in the market, especially by offering desktop and laptop computers and servers based on its graphics processors, with the possibility of offering them at more competitive prices or with better availability compared to competitors.
