Today, Wednesday, the electoral committees in South Sinai Governorate opened their doors at nine in the morning to receive voters on their first day on the legal date set by the General Elections Authority.
Election committees opened for the runoff round in South Sinai amid voter turnout
68,000 male and female voters cast their votes in 9 subcommittees in the cities of the second district, in which the run-off round is being held to choose one candidate from among the candidates, Gharib Hassan and Majed Rabie, to win the individual seat in the Gulf of Suez district, after the elections for the Gulf of Aqaba district were decided in the first round and MP Hussein Moussa won.
It is expected that large numbers of voters will flock today, Wednesday, to cast their votes in the election committees in all the cities of the Gulf of Suez, namely the city of Tur Sinai, Abu Zenima, Abu Redis, and Ras Sidr, in addition to the influx of large numbers of Bedouins to cast their votes, especially the Bedouin tribes, in the parliamentary elections, as the two candidates represent the Al-Mazinah tribe and the Qarasha tribe.
The governor of South Sinai invited voters in all the cities and valleys of the second district in the Gulf of Suez to participate in the elections and choose their candidate freely, and that we stand at the same distance from the runoff candidates, explaining that the House of Representatives elections are subject to the full supervision of the judicial bodies.
