Engineer Mohamed Salah El-Din Mustafa concluded Minister of State for Military ProductionActivities of the third day of the EDEX 2025 exhibition, with a visit to a number of pavilions of companies and entities participating in the exhibition, namely (the Chinese CETC, the Egyptian Amstone, the Turkish Gokturk, and the South Korean Pongsan), in addition to the Jordanian Design and Development Center.

The Minister of State for Military Production confirmed that the aim of these visits is to learn about the latest technologies around the world in the field of military and defense industries and to work on localizing modern technologies within companies affiliated with the Ministry of Military Production.

EDEX 2025 Exhibition

During these inspection tours, the Minister reviewed the Ministry’s most prominent military products, including weapons, ammunition, equipment and electronic systems, in which the Ministry’s affiliated companies participated in the “EDEX 2025” exhibition, stressing that the Ministry of Military Production is interested in everything related to industry, introducing modern technologies to its factories, expanding the range of its products, and raising their quality and competitiveness in global markets, by integrating with the local and international private sector in various fields of manufacturing.

He also stressed that the Ministry is always working to develop the typical products of its companies, in addition to introducing new products, such as its latest military products that are displayed in the Ministry’s pavilion at the “EDEX 2025” exhibition, led by the “Radaa 300” missile launcher, the “Sina 806” repair and rescue vehicle, and the 155 mm 52-caliber howitzer system (K9 A1 EGY), the latest artillery systems in the world.

Pointing out that, in addition to the new products, the Ministry is participating in this year’s edition of the exhibition with models of a number of its products, including small, medium and heavy ammunition, weapons, equipment, tanks and armored vehicles such as the “Sina 200”, and advanced radars and electronic systems, many of which were manufactured by 100% Egyptian hands.

During his visit to the pavilions of these international companies, the Minister of State for Military Production praised the exhibits he saw that reflect the extent of technological development reached in their military industries. During his visit to the pavilions of these companies, he expressed the Ministry of Military Production’s aspiration to achieve strategic partnerships that achieve mutual interest, by taking advantage of the manufacturing and technological capabilities and human expertise available in the military production companies as well as in the international companies whose pavilions were visited, in a way that benefits the development of defense industries in Egypt and the friendly countries it represents. Fruitful strategic partnerships
For their part, representatives of the companies whose pavilions were visited expressed their aspiration to enhance ways of joint cooperation and open horizons for concluding fruitful strategic partnerships with military production companies, pointing out that the “EDEX 2025” exhibition is a promising opportunity to exchange experiences between various employees of the leading global entities in the field of armament systems and defense industries.

Representatives of the visited entities reviewed their areas of work, as representatives of the Chinese “CETC” explained that the company’s field of work is the production of defense electronic systems, while the Egyptian AMSTONE works in the field of manufacturing air, sea and land defense products and provides support and maintenance services for security and defense equipment. Representatives of the Turkish “GökTurk” indicated that the company produces a wide range of products including ammunition, weapons, drone systems, jamming systems and armored vehicles, while representatives of the Korean Pongsan appreciated The Jordanian Design and Development Center The Minister of State for Military Production responded to the invitation extended to him during the meetings he held with the leadership of the company and the center during the activities of the last days of the exhibition.
