Samsung rarely experiments with different materials for its phones, sticking mostly to glass or plastic, but it does occasionally announce a smartphone with a leather finish. The Galaxy F70e is the latest model to launch with a leather back, and it will be available for purchase in India later this month. Samsung has expanded its made-in-India Galaxy F series with the addition of this new model, which joins Samsung’s very short list of devices with a leather finish.

Despite the large number in the name, the Galaxy F70e is an economical phone based on its specifications and price, as it comes with a 6.7-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution (1600 x 720) and a 120 Hz refresh rate, with a brightness of up to 800 nits. The phone works with a processor MediaTek Dimensity 6300 Paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM, storage capacity is 128GB in both versions, with a microSD card slot allowing users to add up to 2TB of additional storage. As for the cameras, the F70e has an 8-megapixel front camera, while the back includes a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2-megapixel depth camera.

Samsung has provided the Galaxy F70e with a huge battery 6,000 mAh Per hour, the company claims to offer up to two days of use on a single charge, with support for 25W fast wired charging, but you’ll have to provide your own charger. The phone also features an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, an audio jack, Bluetooth 5.4, and support for 12 bands of fifth generation (5G) networks. The Galaxy F70e comes with an interface One UI 8 System based Android 16Samsung says the phone will receive 6 years of operating system updates and security updates.

The phone is available in green and blue colors at a price starting from 12,999 Indian rupees (about $143), and will be available for purchase starting February 17.
