Samsung has introduced a new fast charger for the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Featuring a single USB-C port that delivers up to 60W of output power and support for Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology, the charger is designed to deliver the fastest charging speeds for the latest Galaxy S26 phones and other compatible devices.

Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy S26 phones at its recent Unpacked event, offering several upgrades, including faster wired charging speeds. Specifically, the Galaxy S26 Ultra now supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 at up to 60W, up from 45W on the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 retain the same 45W and 25W charging speeds as their predecessors.

To go along with this upgrade, Samsung has also launched a new 60W USB-C power adapter with support for Super Fast Charging 2.0 technology. According to Samsung, the adapter can charge a dead Galaxy S26 Ultra to about 75% in about 30 minutes. Beyond the Ultra model, the charger also supports Ultra-Fast Charging, the Power Delivery 3.1 standard, and the Programmable Power Supply (PPS) protocol, meaning it can still deliver the maximum supported speeds for the rest of the Galaxy S26 lineup and compatible older Galaxy devices.

However, the charger is rated to draw very little power when idle, less than 0.005 watts, making it more efficient than older alternatives. It also includes protections against overcharging, overheating, and short circuits to help keep connected devices safe. The adapter itself is fairly compact, measuring 46.0 x 64.2 x 28.0mm and weighing 104.2g, but the pins aren’t foldable like on many Anker and UGrain alternatives.

The Samsung 60W Power Adapter is available now direct from Samsung and Best Buy. It’s priced at $54.99, though an early bird discount currently brings it down to $38.49 on Samsung’s website. The charger does not come with a charging cable in the box.
