The Kuwaiti General Administration of Customs revealed in a statement that the details of the seizure were due to the receipt of information indicating that a European traveler was trying to bring narcotic substances into the country by hiding them inside his stomach. He was immediately placed under surveillance and monitored from the moment he arrived at the customs hall.
Thwarting the smuggling of hashish in Kuwait
She indicated that after the accused was arrested, 312 grams of the narcotic hashish were found in his possession, before he was transferred to Farwaniya Hospital to extract the remaining smuggled materials inside his body.
After medical procedures, it became clear that the total amount he attempted to smuggle was 412 grams of hashish, according to what was published by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Qabas.
