Xiaomi launched the Poco F8 series unusually early this year, with the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra unveiled during November. Based on custom, the basic version of Poco F8 was expected to be released during the following months, but new leaks indicate that this may not happen.
According to the Xiaomi Time website, Xiaomi may decide to limit itself to the Poco F8 Pro and Poco F8 Ultra phones only, while stopping the release of the regular version Poco F8.
The report claims that the company is currently working on a Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max phone instead of the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, and that this device will later be re-marketed as the Poco X8 Pro Max.

In the same vein, leaks indicate that Xiaomi may also cancel the launch of the regular Poco X8. Instead, the Poco X8 Pro is expected to be launched as usual as a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 5, alongside the Poco
However, the authenticity of this information cannot yet be confirmed, especially since it is based only on device registration data in the IMEI database.
However, it seems unlikely that Xiaomi will completely abandon the Poco F8 name, given its great popularity and its extended history since the launch of the original Poco F1 phone.
