The people of the village of Kafr El Galabta, affiliated with the Martyrs Center in Menoufia Governorate, recently mourned the body of the young man Abdel Fattah, M., in a solemn funeral overshadowed by a state of sadness and grief, after his body was found after two days of searches in the sea waters of the Abu Al Khawi area in the Beheira Governorate, after he drowned during the Sham El Nessim celebrations.
The young man drowned while swimming with one of his colleagues in the area. River rescue forces and security personnel were rushed to the site of the accident immediately after the report, and combing work began inside the waterway, with the scope of the search expanded due to the nature of the current.
The search work witnessed the participation of a number of residents and fishermen in support of the efforts of the river rescue teams, which continued for two consecutive days until the body was found, the necessary legal procedures were completed, and a burial permit was obtained.
The funeral was attended by hundreds of people from the Martyrs Center, amid a state of great sadness among his family and the people of the village, who bid him farewell to his final resting place amid calls for mercy and forgiveness, and for God to cover him with His vast mercy.
