Cairo 24 learned from its own sources that Zamalek players were keen to inquire about the date of disbursement of dues, in light of the recent crises that struck the team, the most prominent of which was the departure of technical director Ahmed Abdel Raouf from leading the team.
The source confirmed that the players demanded clarification about the fate of their dues, especially since previous promises had been made to disburse them during the current week, adding that the current atmosphere inside the club indicates the difficulty of disbursing the dues on time, in light of the state of administrative and technical instability that Zamalek has been experiencing during recent days.
The source pointed out that the absence of any notification to the players regarding the disbursement dates increased the state of ambiguity within the team’s ranks, stressing the presence of a state of anger among a large number of players, as a result of the lack of clarity of vision so far regarding financial dues, which imposes great psychological pressure on the team’s members, especially with the approaching number of important matches during the next stage, which requires focus and stability within the ranks of Zamalek.
