The British Consul, Arvinder Fahra, confirmed that the governorate Luxor It represents an exceptional destination for British tourists, because of its ancient history and distinct cultural experience that is not available anywhere else, stressing his country’s full keenness to enhance cooperation to support the increase in the number of British tourists arriving to the city, and to expand the horizons of partnership in areas of common interest.

This came during the reception of Engineer Abdel Muttalib Amara, Governor of Luxor, with the British Consul, in a visit aimed at discussing ways to enhance aspects of joint cooperation.

The Consul expressed his happiness at visiting Luxor, praising the tangible development he witnessed in the level of services and organization, and emphasizing the growing interest of British tourists in the Egyptian tourist destination in general and Luxor in particular.

Amara pointed out that Britain is one of the most important markets exporting tourism to Egypt, explaining the keenness of state agencies to provide a safe and attractive climate for investment, and the continuous work to develop infrastructure and services in a manner befitting Luxor’s international status.
