UGREEN has announced its readiness to launch a new portable power bank that will rely on advanced batteries manufactured by BYD, as part of a broader strategic partnership that brings together the two companies to develop power accessories. This new accessory joins a wide and distinguished range of current products offered by UGREEN in the market, such as the ultra-slim MagFlow Air Qi2 power bank, which supports 15-watt charging and has a battery capacity of 5,000 mAh, which was recently launched in the United States and is available at a price of 69.99 US dollars.
The announcement of the new charging accessory and the expanded partnership between the two companies came through an official publication on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, where UGREEN explained that the new power bank will fully comply with the latest national safety regulations and standards in China to provide enhanced and reliable protection for users. These strict standards, which were announced in early April of the year 2026 and will be effective and mandatory by April 2027, aim to significantly reduce accidents and risks resulting from high temperatures, overcharging, and the occurrence of electrical short circuits.

Despite this exciting announcement, UGREEN has not yet revealed more precise details about the expected portable power bank, including the shape of its external design or the set of ports and outputs it will provide to meet various charging needs. However, the company hinted in its publication that the launch of the product will be very soon, so the question remains in technical circles about whether and when this new accessory will make its way to other global markets, especially after the completion of its long-awaited and anticipated launch in the local Chinese market.
