Preparations for the movie El-Sitt
Mona Zaki spoke about her preparations for her role in the movie Al-Sitt, noting that she chose to focus on the character’s inner feelings at every age stage rather than trying to imitate her literally.
She confirmed that she underwent multiple training in speech to change the pitch of her voice, and she also received lessons in acting and body language so that she could build a character completely different from her natural personality.
The artist admitted that she faced moments of frustration during filming, and she even turned to director Marwan Hamed more than once to express to him her feeling of inability to continue.
She pointed out that his advice to her to divide the work into small steps helped her overcome that situation, saying that improvement actually began to appear after following his directions.
