The Center for the Development of Education for Expatriates and Foreign Students at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif announced the launch of the fifth season of the international competition for expatriates and foreigners: “Talents and Abilities,” which is the largest annual competition in Al-Azhar to discover and nurture talents among international students, and support their creative and intellectual energies in various scientific, religious, cultural, artistic, technological, and other fields.

In its current season, the competition includes 17 independent fields, aiming to select 170 distinguished winners, with total prizes exceeding one million Egyptian pounds. This is in continuation of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif’s vision of empowering international students, developing their abilities, and providing a supportive environment that helps them create and innovate, and unleash their talents in a framework that strengthens their affiliation to the Al-Azhar institution, preserves their minds, and spares them from any ideas that conflict with Al-Azhar’s approach, which is based on moderation and moderation.
The Development Center explained that the competition comes as a continuation of the programs directed to caring for international students at the scientific, educational and cultural levels, and providing them with opportunities to highlight their abilities in fair and diverse competitions that enhance self-confidence, support individual and group excellence, and contribute to preparing a generation of creative people capable of representing Al-Azhar Al-Sharif and conveying its message and approach to the world.
The center called on incoming students from various educational levels at Al-Azhar to register and participate through Al-Azhar’s electronic portal, stressing that the “Talents and Abilities” competition has become one of the most important programs that reflects Al-Azhar’s interest in its incoming students, its constant keenness to care for them, and to create real paths for them to excel and create, and to create luminous models that represent Al-Azhar in more than 120 countries around the world.
