She explained that the temperature today is about 29 degrees Celsius in Cairo, an increase of between 4 and 5 degrees above normal levels, and will rise tomorrow to 33 and 34 degrees, and the peak of the heat wave will reach Thursday, exceeding 35 degrees Celsius.
She pointed out that the country is affected by desert air masses and an air rise in the upper layers of the atmosphere, which leads to increased periods of sunshine and stable atmosphere with a feeling of rising temperatures.
It warned of wind activity at speeds ranging between 30 and 40 km/h, which may cause sand and dust, especially in the evening, with its intensity increasing on Thursday and Friday, which may affect horizontal visibility in some areas.
She added that there are chances of light rain falling on areas of Sinai, the Red Sea mountain ranges and the far west of the country, stressing the importance of closely following weather forecasts.It will pass.
She warned of the continued large difference between temperatures during the day and at night, which may exceed 10 degrees, which requires not rushing to loosen clothes, especially for children and the elderly.
