Mai Abdel Hamid, CEO of the Social Housing and Real Estate Finance Support Fund, said that the implementation of 790,000 housing units has been completed within the “Housing for All Egyptians” initiative since its launch in 2014.

She indicated during a celebration held under the title “Housing for All Egyptians… 10 Years of Achievement,” held in the New Capital, that another 242,000 units are being implemented, in addition to the intention to offer 40,000 new units during the coming period.
She pointed out that the Fund has achieved remarkable progress in implementing its strategic objectives of providing adequate housing for citizens and stimulating the private sector to be a partner in implementing housing projects.
In another context, the celebration of the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities was launched today, Tuesday, January 13, 2025, entitled Housing for All Egyptians, 10 Years of Achievement, held in the New Capital.

The celebration was held in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, along with a number of ministers, officials, and representatives of concerned authorities.
The celebration comes within the framework of reviewing the tangible achievements achieved by the Presidential Initiative “Housing for All Egyptians” over ten years, and its role in providing suitable housing units for low- and middle-income people, which reflects the state’s orientation towards achieving social justice and providing safe and appropriate housing for citizens.
The event witnesses a presentation of the most prominent stages of the initiative’s development and the projects that have been implemented, in addition to highlighting the future plans of the Ministry of Housing in this vital file, which is considered one of the most important axes of comprehensive urban development witnessed by the Egyptian state.
