The village of Al-Marashda, affiliated with the Waqf Center in Qena Governorate, witnessed an attack by stray dogs on a livestock pen, resulting in the death of a number of sheep.

Eyewitnesses said that a group of stray dogs surrounded the barn during the daylight hours and managed to prey on 8 heads of sheep and ewes, causing great financial losses to their owner.
The people demanded the intensification of campaigns to deal with stray dogs, stressing the need for the intervention of the competent authorities, led by the Veterinary Medicine Department and the village council, to control their spread, calling on officials to quickly take the necessary measures to preserve the safety of citizens and their property.
