Al-Ahly begins training today in preparation for facing Pyramids in the league
The Pyramids team will host its counterpart, Al-Ahly, in the match between the two teams, within the fourth round of the title-deciding group, of the Premier League competition, at the Air Defense Stadium.
Al-Ahly team will resume group training, this evening, Thursday, under the leadership of Danish coach Jes Torop, the team’s technical director, at the beginning of preparations for the Pyramids match in the Premier League competition.
The Dane holds a technical lecture with Al-Ahly players, on the sidelines of the team’s training, to talk about some technical matters related to his upcoming match against his counterpart, Pyramids, in the local competition.
Al-Ahly received a passive rest from group training, for a period of 4 days, after the match that the Red Team played against its counterpart Smouha, which it played last Saturday in the local competition at Cairo International Stadium.
Al-Ahly is scheduled to face its counterpart, Pyramids, at eight o’clock in the evening next Monday, the twenty-seventh of April, at the Air Defense Stadium.
Al-Ahly team comes in third place in the Premier League standings for the current season, with 44 points, after playing 22 matches since the start of the local competition.
While the Pyramids team occupies second place in the Premier League standings for the current season, occupying second place with 44 points, it still has a match against Zamalek before its match against Al-Ahly.
