Schubert reveals the expected formation of Zamalek against CS Belouizdad

Zamalek will host its counterpart, CR Belouizdad, in the decisive match between the two teams, in the second leg of the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup for the current season.

According to what Ahmed Schubert said in his radio program this Thursday morning: Zamalek has a number of confirmed absences, led by Mohamed Sobhi, who is suspended after he received a red card in the match with Congolese Otoho and subsequently missed the first leg as well as the return match against CS Belouizdad.

He confirmed in his speech that Zamalek will play its match against CS Belouizdad with the following formation:

Goalkeeper: Mahdi Suleiman

Defense line: Omar Jaber – Hossam Abdel Majeed – Mohamed Ismail – Mahmoud Bentaek

Midfield: Ahmed Fattouh – Mohamed Shehata – Ahmed Sherif

Offensive line: Abdullah Al-Saeed – Uday Al-Dabbagh – Nasser Mansi

He continued in his statements, saying: Juan Bezerra has not decided on his position regarding participation, and I believe that he will not participate, and this is my personal point of view, especially since Motamed Gamal, the team’s technical director, will not risk him. He will either sit on the bench or be completely out of the list.

He continued in his statements: His injury is a strain and has not reached the stage of tension or tearing, and therefore I think that Motamed Gamal prefers to rest him, especially since Zamalek is ahead in the first leg with a goal without a response.

He added in his statements, saying: Amr Nasser’s luck was not good, after he suffered an injury to the back muscle, which makes him need a rehabilitation period, and it is certain that he will not join tomorrow’s match.

Ahmed Schubert continued in his speech: The trend for Bezerra is to rest him in this match, or to be on the bench as a precautionary measure, and if the match goes well, he will not be brought on, but if the coach needs him, he will be present on the bench, and it is also possible that he will not be present.

In his statements, he addressed the fans: We want them to avoid any problems, and what happened to Al-Ahly in the return match against Esperance of Tunisia and its lack of its fans is enough for us, and we need our fans because it represents an element of safety, especially since the next match may be final and cannot tolerate any mistakes.

He continued his speech: If the referee blows the whistle and you do not like it, or the assistant raises the flag, or any decision is made by the referee or the mouse, you must control yourself and let things pass peacefully. Continuing, I say to the Zamalek fans that what happens inside the stadium is not their concern, because the most important thing is reaching the final match, as it is the African final and we must focus only on that.

He concluded by saying: This tournament is the only opportunity currently available at the African level, and we must adhere to it. I hope that Zamalek scores an early goal, because that will largely end the match, and even if you concede a goal, you will have an advantage in the first leg.
