Engineer Sherif El-Sherbiny, Minister, held a contract Housing Facilities and urban communities held a meeting to follow up on the position of the Marina El Alamein projects and the New El Alamein City projects, in the presence of officials from the Ministry and the New Urban Communities Authority, and the heads of the New El Alamein City and Tourist Villages agencies.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Minister of Housing stressed his keenness to follow up on the ongoing projects in the Marina and New Alamein City, stressing the necessity of working to overcome any obstacles to complete the projects at the specified times in accordance with the established time programs.
Handing over the units to the detainees
The meeting discussed the executive position of the Marina 8 projects on an area of 179 acres, which includes residential projects, chalets and villas, with a total of 243 buildings with 917 units. It also followed the implementation position of utility networks (drinking water – drainage – irrigation – roads), electricity network works, road works, site coordination, and the position of deliveries.
In this context, the Minister of Housing directed that the work on the projects be advanced and completed at the highest level and in the fastest time to deliver the units to the detainees in parallel with the completion of road works within the scope of the project.
The Minister also followed up on the executive position of the Marina 8 projects (M8 by the lake), with a total of 1,183 units, “villas and buildings,” and the ongoing work on the floodgates that feed the lakes with an area of about (820) thousand square meters south of the coastal road, and the development of the Champs-Elysées area and the development of the entrance to Marina 5.
The meeting also reviewed the volume of investments in New Alamein City from 2018 until now, and the executive position of a number of projects in the city, including the beach towers, the Latin Quarter towers, the Downtown area, the heritage city, two shrines, the villa area, and housing units for all Egyptians, and the position of handing over the units. In this regard, the minister stressed the importance of handing over the units ready for delivery to the detainees in the various projects.
