According to new rumors from China, Xiaomi is working on launching a new tracker called Xiaomi Tag. As the name suggests, this device will be a direct competitor to the Apple AirTag and Moto Tag.

Xiaomi is expected to officially unveil the device on December 26 in China, coinciding with the launch of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. As for the international launch, there is no confirmed information yet, but there are great expectations and hopes for its arrival in global markets.

The Xiaomi Tag will reportedly support UWB technology like AirTag, and will work with Google’s Find My Device network to easily track lost items. It is expected to be priced at least under $25 in China, making it a competitive, affordable option.
