Engineer Abdul Muttalib Amara, Governor LuxorToday, Sunday, an expanded inspection tour took place in the center and city of Esna, to follow up on the implementation rates of service projects and find out the latest developments in the field.

Details of the construction work on Al-Deir Bridge

The governor began the tour by heading to the village of Al-Deir to inspect the final works of the new bridge, after completing the introduction of all basic facilities in the village.

The length of the bridge in the village of Al-Deir is 53 metres, and its width was increased from 10 meters to 12 metres, and the level of the bridge was raised by 1.3 meters to ensure its consistency with the level of the eastern agricultural road and the two adjacent railway tracks.

All concrete works have been completed, and the necessary engineering tests have been conducted to ensure safety standards. Work on constructing fences, final finishes, and lighting is currently continuing in preparation for its opening soon.

The governor directed that the two-kilometre paving of the main road leading to the village of Deir be included in the paving plan, noting that the bridge project is being implemented by the Red Sea Reconstruction Authority.

Urgent directives to support the health sector in Esna

In a related context, the governor went to inspect the construction work of the new dialysis unit, which is being held in the former maternity and child care building.

He stressed the speedy completion of the work so that the unit can enter medical service as soon as possible. The unit will include 16 dialysis machines to provide the necessary care for the people of Esna, in addition to raising the efficiency of the walls and facades of the building. The tour also included an inspection of the old Esna Hospital building.

The governor was accompanied by a number of executive leaders, most notably Brigadier General Ahmed Al-Hawari, head of the city of Esna, engineer Elham Shaibani, director of roads, transportation, and housing, leaders of the reconstruction agency, and officials of the health sector in the governorate, along with members of the House of Representatives and the Senate.
