The Official Gazette published Resolution No. 504 of 2025 of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade regarding the continued imposition of a fee on exports of some types of components. Feed.
Imposing a duty on exports of feed ingredients
The first article of the decision stipulated that a fee would continue to be imposed on exports of some types of imported feed components as follows:
- 1,200 pounds for straw and grain husks, even if they are marginal (straw), except for rice straw
- $60 on alfalfa and similar feedstuffs
- 1,800 pounds for bran and other residues from screening, grinding, or processing grains and legumes, except for rice bran.
- 1,800 pounds on plant materials, waste, waste, residues, and plant by-products of the types used in animal feed, except for corn stover and corn stover.
- 600 pounds on corn silage.
Article Two of the decision stipulates that this fee does not apply to consignments exported to production projects established in free zones within the Arab Republic of Egypt, and within the limits of quantities approved by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones.
Article Four of the higher decision stipulated that this decision be published in the Egyptian Gazette, and it will be effective for a period of one year from the day following the date of its publication.
