River rescue forces succeeded in recovering the body of the young man, Muhammad Ahmed, 8 years old, the third victim of the sinking of the Al-Shouraniya Al-Maragha ferry, after 7 days of intensive search work in the Nile River in Sohag, amid a state of sadness among the people.

Major General Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Sohag Security, received notification that the body of one of those missing in the sinking of the Al-Shouraniya ferry had been found, following continuous efforts by the river rescue forces.
The rescue teams, led by Brigadier General Dr. Hossam Hammad, Major Omar Abdel Rady and Major Imad Adel, played a pivotal role in the combing and search operations, as they continued their work day and night using launchers and specialized equipment, while expanding the scope of the search along the course of the Nile, until the body was located and recovered, from the side of Shatoura village, affiliated with the Tahta Center, and transferred to the hospital morgue at the disposal of the investigation authorities.
Tamaya’s car previously slid from the top of the Nile ferry, killing a woman and two children, and today the last victims were found.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the investigating authorities were notified to initiate investigations and uncover the circumstances of the incident.
