Wasel, Major General Dr. Abdel Fattah Siraj, Governor SohagFor the second day in a row, he conducted field tours to follow up on the progress of the runoff elections for the House of Representatives in December 2025, as part of his keenness to ensure the regularity of the electoral process and provide an appropriate climate for voters and those in charge of the process.
Sohag Governor inspects a number of electoral committees
The tour included inspecting a number of subcommittees in the East District, West District, and Sohag Center, where the governor began by visiting the committees of the hero Ali Othman Preparatory School in the East District, then moved to the committee of the Martyr Major General Nabil Farraj Primary School in the West District.
The Governor of Sohag concluded his tour by inspecting the committee of the Rawafe’ Al-Qusayr Preparatory Secondary School and the committee of the Al-Rawafe’ Al-Azhari Primary Institute in the Sohag Center, where he was assured of the regularity of voting and the progress of procedures within the committees without obstacles.
During the tour, the governor met with the advisors and heads of the committees, and reassured them of the availability of all administrative and organizational needs, and ensured that the appropriate climate was created to facilitate the voting process, especially for the elderly and people with disabilities, praising the good organization and coordination among the concerned authorities.
The governor confirmed that the governorate’s operating rooms and centers will continue to operate around the clock to follow up on the progress of the electoral process, and to immediately deal with any observations or obstacles that voters may face, ensuring the regularity and discipline of the electoral process.
The governor also met with a number of citizens who frequent the committees, and reassured them of the availability of the necessary facilities, including tents for protection from the sun’s rays, and the availability of wheelchairs for the elderly and people with disabilities, ensuring easy participation in the electoral entitlement without any obstacles.
