The Turkish football team Galatasaray is seeking to sign striker Omar Marmoush, the English Manchester City star, during the current winter transfer period.
The Africa Soccer website confirmed that 26-year-old Marmoush, whose agent George Gardy is participating in the negotiations, is close to joining the Galatasaray team on loan until the end of the current season.
The website added that Marmoush is reluctant to leave the English Premier League in light of the desire of both Aston Villa and Tottenham to include him.
He added that Galatasaray had prepared an official offer to loan Marmoush in the hope of including the Egyptian star.
Marmoush suffers with his team, Manchester City, from a lack of regular participation.
