Artist Ibrahim Abu Al-Atta revealed his suffering from the lack of job opportunities in the artistic field, stressing that he has not worked in art for 5 years.
Ibrahim Abu Al-Atta said, in statements to Cairo 24: If we were working, we would not need anyone to spend money on us. They are waiting for us to get tired and die from oppression. We want to work.
He added: I have not been working in art for 5 years. Take advantage of us. Directors are sitting at home. Where are the film directors who cannot find anything to do? It is forbidden for people to die from oppression and sadness.
Works of Ibrahim Abu Al-Atta
It is noteworthy that Ibrahim Abu Al-Atta participated in a large number of works, the most prominent of which are: the Baraka series by Amr Saad, the Al-Zaybak series by Karim Abdel Aziz, the Security Status series, the series My Share and Qasmatak, the Lahfa series, the Maryam series, Mulan Al-Ashiq, and a number of other works.
Ibrahim Abu Al-Ata’s latest work is the series “Ya Ana Yagdo”, and the work included a large number of stars, the most prominent of whom are: Ahmed Badir, Sarah Salama, Medhat Tikha, Rana Samaha, Tariq Sabry, and a number of other artists. The work is written by Fathi Al-Jundi and directed by Adel Al-Aasar, and its events take place in a social and comedic framework.
The events of the series “Ya Ana Ya Grandpa” revolved around the stingy old man Ismail and his grandson Youssef, who suffers from his grandfather’s miserliness and the lack of work to help him achieve his dream and marry his fiancée Qishta, and everyone looks forward to the grandfather’s death so that they can obtain the inheritance.
