The security services at the Ministry of Interior were able to arrest 3 “unlicensed” companies that recruit workers abroad within the scope of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate by defrauding citizens, seizing sums of money from them, and promoting their activities through social media sites.
3 unlicensed recruitment companies were seized
Information and investigations from the General Administration of Work Permits in the Documents Sector confirmed the fraud and deception of 3 “unlicensed” companies to recruit workers abroad within the scope of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate, against citizens, seize sums of money from them, and promote their activity through social media sites.
After codifying the procedures, those in charge of managing these companies were able to arrest 3 people, “one of whom had criminal information, and they were in possession of passports and photos of passports – visas and photos of travel visas for citizens – declarations and “fake” work agreement contracts abroad – advertisements for companies – a number of notebooks and scraps – 2 mobile phones, a “laptop” and 2 processing units. “They were examined and found to contain evidence confirming their criminal activity, and legal measures were taken.”
This comes within the framework of efforts to combat crimes of fraud and defrauding citizens and seizing their money, under the pretext of facilitating their travel to work abroad.
