
Enppi Club qualified for the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup after defeating Telecom Egypt 2-0 in the match that brought them together yesterday evening in the quarter-finals of the Egypt Cup.
Enppi Club’s two goals were scored by Mohab Sami in the 96th minute of the first extra period, and Ahmed Kafta scored the second goal in the 101st minute.
Enppi controlled the course of events at the beginning of the half and sought to score early, in light of Telecom Egypt’s reliance on defensive insurance in order to preserve its goal.
With this victory, Enppi awaits a strong confrontation in the semi-finals, where it will face the winner of the Pyramids and Petrojet match, in a new struggle for the ticket to the final match.
Enppi played the match with a formation consisting of:
Goalkeeper: Abdel Rahman Samir.
Defense: Marwan Daoud – Ahmed Kalousha – Ahmed Sabiha – Hazem Temsah.
Midfield: Ziad Kamal – Ahmed Al-Agouz – Ali Mahmoud.
