
The Zamalek club’s first volleyball team achieved a well-deserved victory over its counterpart, Wadi Degla, with a score of three games without a response, in the confrontation that brought them together on Saturday evening in the covered hall of the White Castle, within the semi-final competitions of the league championship.

Zamalek imposed its dominance over the match from the first moments, and its players succeeded in providing a strong performance characterized by focus and offensive effectiveness, in addition to defensive solidity and good organization of the blocking wall. The white team did not give its opponent any opportunity to enter the atmosphere of the match, and settled the confrontation with relative ease and with a comfortable difference of points in all rounds.

The results of the three halves confirmed Zamalek’s clear superiority throughout the match:
• First half: 25-13 in favor of Zamalek
• Second half: 25-14 in favor of Zamalek
• Third half: 25-17 in favor of Zamalek
These results reflected the technical and physical difference between the two teams, as Zamalek maintained a high level of play until the final whistle.
An anticipated confrontation against Misr Petroleum
Zamalek is expected to meet the Misr Petroleum team next Tuesday, in the latter’s hall, at exactly eight-thirty in the evening, as part of the penultimate round of the tournament. This confrontation is important in the team’s journey towards winning the title, especially in light of the close level between the competing teams
