This comes in light of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to facilitate citizens’ reconciliation of building violations and legalize their status in accordance with the Prime Minister’s decision, and in accordance with the new Reconciliation Law No. 187 of 2023 and its executive regulations.
The governor pointed out that the state attaches great importance to quickly completing reconciliation procedures in a way that achieves reassurance and stability for various families, which requires intensifying efforts during this stage to achieve tangible progress in this vital file, as the total number of requests reached 31,146 files, of which 30,529 requests were decided, at a rate of 98%.
Reconciliation of building violations
This came while the Governor of Aswan chaired the Executive Council meeting in the presence of Engineer Amr Lashin, Deputy Governor, Major General Maher Hashem, Secretary-General, as well as the security, military, religious and executive leaders.
Ismail Kamal stressed that reconciliation takes place only regarding violations that were detected before October 17, 2023, and that the primary goal of reconciliation is not limited to legalizing the situation, but rather extends to establishing new rules for organized urban development, and achieving permanent stability for citizens in line with the state’s efforts to achieve Egypt’s Vision 2030.
He appealed to citizens to quickly submit requests for reconciliation and take advantage of the new extension period that began last November 5 and will continue for 6 months, especially since the state is keen to facilitate and provide all means of support to ensure that the procedures are completed smoothly and smoothly in order to achieve the public good and complete the process of construction and development.
