The security services of the Ministry of Interior revealed the circumstances of a video clip that was circulated on social media sites, which included some people promoting narcotic substances in Qalyubia.
4 people were arrested on charges of trafficking in hashish and heroin in Qalyubia
Through examination, it was possible to identify and arrest 4 people appearing in the video clip, one of whom had criminal information, residing in the area of the second police station in Shubra El Kheima. They were in possession of a quantity of hashish, heroin, powder, and two bladed weapons. When they were confronted, they confessed to their possession of narcotic substances for the purpose of trafficking, and legal measures were taken.
Earlier, a drug dealer was killed during an exchange of gunfire with security forces in a massive campaign launched by the Drug Administration, in the village of Khuzam in the Qus center in Qena Governorate.
The beginning came when the Narcotics Control Department in Qena launched a massive campaign to arrest outlaw drug dealers in the village of Khuzam, Qus center.
The campaign resulted in the death of H. A., one of the largest drug dealers, during an exchange of gunfire with the security forces, it was found that he was on the run from 4 drug cases, and 35 kilos of shabu, weapons, and quantities of hashish were seized in his possession, in the village of Hajer Khuzam, Qus center.
The body was transferred to the Qena University Hospital morgue at the disposal of the competent authorities, and the seized items were kept in custody. A report on the incident was drawn up and the relevant authorities were notified to initiate investigations.
