Visit of the Saudi Foreign Minister to Egypt
The sources added that bilateral discussions between the Egyptian and Saudi foreign ministers will be held tomorrow, Monday, stressing that Yemen is at the forefront of the discussions between the two sides.
The sources stressed that the Egyptian position is firm and calls for stability in Yemen, and that there are Egyptian efforts to push for a comprehensive settlement of the Yemeni crisis, adding that the discussions include implementing the second phase of the Sharm El-Sheikh agreement on Gaza.
The discussions between the Egyptian and Saudi sides also touch on the Sudan file, within the agenda of the discussions on calm and stopping the war in Khartoum.
Tomorrow, Monday, January 5, 2026, Dr. Badr Abdel Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Egyptian Abroad Affairs, will receive Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as part of an official visit to Cairo.
