Announce Alvaro ArbeloaReal Madrid coach, Real Madrid’s list of players called up for their upcoming match against Albacete, in the Spanish King’s Cup.
Real Madrid will face Albacete in the match between them in the round of 16 of the King’s Cup, at Carlos Belmont Stadium, the latter’s stronghold.
This is Alvaro Arbeloa’s first match in charge of Real Madrid, after he was appointed to succeed Xabi Alonso, who was thanked following the defeat by Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final.
Real Madrid’s roster witnessed the absence of 11 players, most notably Ibrahim Diaz, due to his participation with the Moroccan national team in the African Cup of Nations. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Eder Militao were also absent due to injury, and Thibaut Courtois, Ferland Mendy, Antonio Rudiger, Álvaro Carreras, Aurelien Chouamini, Jude Bellingham, Kylian Mbappé and Rodrigo were ruled out by technical decision.

Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup, beating Real Madrid 3-2, during their match at Al Jawhara Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Real Madrid, under the leadership of Arbelo, will face its counterpart, Albacete, today, Wednesday, at ten o’clock in the evening, in the framework of the 16th round of the Spanish King’s Cup.
