Mr. Sharif performed Captain of the Noble GentlemenFriday prayers at Al-Aziz Al-Hakim Mosque in the Mokattam neighborhood in Cairo, after President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi officially opened it at dawn today.
Friday prayers were performed in the mosque by Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Hani Sweilem, Minister of Irrigation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Duwaini, Undersecretary of Al-Azhar, Dr. Nazir Ayyad, Grand Mufti of the Republic, Dr. Ibrahim Saber, Governor of Cairo, and a number of leaders of Al-Azhar and Endowments.
The head of the Noble Syndicate said that the Al-Aziz Al-Hakim Mosque is a giant edifice and an integrated religious institution, and it joins the list of giant mosques that provide various community services, which were built in the new republic.

The head of the Noble Gentlemen Syndicate confirmed that Egypt, during the era of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, witnessed an unprecedented boom in the reconstruction of Al-Bayt mosques and mosques in general, whether in terms of expanding their establishment or in terms of the advocacy and scientific activities that are carried out in them, so that they can fulfill their full mission in establishing the high moral values necessary for building humanity and preserving the nation.
The head of the Syndicate of Noble Gentlemen thanked and appreciated President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for his keen interest in caring for the houses of God Almighty, the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces, Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and the employees of the Ministry for their keenness to make Egypt’s mosques a beacon of knowledge.
