Nothing revealed a new system to easily transfer files between Android phones and computers, at a time when some companies began offering similar solutions, such as AirDrop support on certain devices.

The new solution is called Nothing Warp, and it provides a quick way to share files between the phone and the computer running macOS, Windows, or Linux.

The Nothing Warp application is available for free for Android phones through the Play Store, while using it on the computer requires installing the Warp extension for the Google Chrome browser or any Chromium-based browser, and it can be found through the Chrome Web Store.

The application on the phone is integrated with the sharing menu on Android, where it is sufficient to log in using the same Google account on the phone and computer to start transferring content easily. After setup, files, links, copied texts, and images can be sent between devices in both directions directly.

Nothing explains that file transfer takes place via the user’s Google Drive space, which means that the application does not store or access data, but rather its role is limited to facilitating the transfer process between devices linked to the same account.
