Representative Muhammad Abu Al-Enein said that the dangerous escalation witnessed in the international arena in the Gaza Strip, in addition to the military tensions between the United States and Israel on the one hand and Iran on the other hand, reflects a state of severe turmoil that threatens the stability of the region and the world, and puts the international system before a real test of the extent of its commitment to law and justice.
He explained that the simultaneity of these crises reveals a clear imbalance in the balance of power and the absence of human justice, which requires a comprehensive review of the mechanisms for dealing with international conflicts.

Gaza is at the heart of an open humanitarian tragedy
Abu Al-Enein stressed that the siege, suffering and widespread destruction to which the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip are exposed represents an open humanitarian wound and a direct test of the credibility of the international community in protecting civilians and stopping violations.
He pointed out that the continuation of these conditions exacerbates the humanitarian catastrophe and threatens a broader explosion in the region, warning that international silence is no longer acceptable in the face of the worsening scale of suffering.
A call for urgent and organized parliamentary action
Abu Al-Enein called for immediate and organized action at the national and international levels, stressing the need for parliaments to play an active oversight role in issues of war and peace, review arms export policies, and link political decisions to moral and humanitarian standards.
He also stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between international parliaments to develop early warning mechanisms and parliamentary mediation, and sending joint missions to areas of tension, to ensure the protection of civilians and the opening of safe humanitarian corridors.
A unified parliamentary position calls for a ceasefire
Representative Muhammad Abu Al-Enein and President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union, Teulia Aksun, confirmed that what is happening in Palestine and the regional escalation represent a decisive test of the credibility of the international system and the conscience of humanity.
They stressed the need for an immediate ceasefire and a return to a comprehensive diplomatic path that ends the conflict and establishes a just and sustainable peace, while strengthening the oversight role of parliaments to ensure the protection of civilians and prevent the recurrence of tragedies.
